PARENTS, TEACHERS, FRIENDS ASSOCIATION (PTFA)

Canon Pyon CE Academy has always had a proactive PTFA which is extremely well supported by hard-working and generous parents, directors and friends. The PTFA willingly help at events and support our activities throughout the year; this reflects the friendly and inclusive ethos of our school.

Everyone is welcome to participate (all school families are automatically members) and creative minds are needed to dream up new fundraising ideas and to help decide how best to spend the money the PTFA makes.

Regular posters, flyers, email and a section on the school website enable PTFA to keep in touch with all those involved with the school.

Recent projects which have been funded by the PTFA include provision of iPads for each class, playground equipment for playtimes and outdoor furniture.

Further information is posted on the parent’s noticeboard in the main hall, or call into the school office.

We are a group of parents who all give our time on a voluntary basis to organise and run fundraising (and hopefully fun!) activities for those in our school community

If you would like to find out more about what we do, become involved in the PTFA, or if you have any ideas fo a project for the PTFA, you are welcome to come along to one of our meetings.
